- I have the 288XV, and I get about 90% 26.4, 10% 28.8. The 115,200
- speed is called DTE (computer-to-modem), the 28.8 speed is DCE (modem-to
- -modem). To get the DCE displayed in Win95, either add 'W2' to the
- modem settings, or use the S95 register in your modem.

- For the latter, search the registry for the string "S95=" (no quotes).
- It's probably S95=46. Add 1 to the number, e.g. S95=47. The reason
- is that the LSB of this register sets which speed is reported.
